About Us

About us

We endeavour to deliver on our mission in five ways

1.

Through the provision of a drop-in café serving an appetizing range of food from a seasonal menu including speciality coffees and prepared dishes. The café is open six days per week (closed Sundays) from 10.00 – 16.00 and on all public holidays except for Christmas and New Year.

2.

Foodbank provision including befriending, self-help and money management support. Our foodbank has been in operation since 2011 with the addition of money management advice added in 2015 through collaboration with Christians Against Poverty (CAP). We are also available to support other foodbanks and rural schools by receiving food from FareShare and releasing it to them at appointed times.

3.

Delivery of programmes in health and wellbeing; pharmacy awareness; farm family skills; i-Pad, smart phone and laptop training; slow-cooker usage and nutrition; money management courses; etc.. Our café serves to provide a degree of anonymity for those accessing stigma-perceived services.

4.

By facilitating groups and individuals in the use of our conference space, meeting rooms and outdoor / upper floor / main café space for meetings, workshops, interviews, etc..

5.

Through our new outreach programme supported by The Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Fermanagh and Omagh District Council – the initiative being offered to help more people avail of services on offer.
